What is included in ABA Therapy?
Intake Process
1. Initial Consultation
We begin with a comprehensive consultation to discuss our services, determine eligibility, and explain the steps involved in starting ABA therapy.
2. Verification of Benefits
Our team will contact your insurance provider to verify if your plan covers ABA services, including the extent and limitations of your benefits.
3. Diagnosis Requirement
ABA therapy is typically covered for individuals with a documented diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We will review and confirm the necessary diagnostic documentation.
4. Authorization Process
Once benefits are confirmed, we will seek authorization from your insurance provider. This includes conducting an initial assessment and submitting all required documentation for approval.
5. Individualized Treatment Plan
After authorization, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to the client's unique needs and goals. Once the plan is approved, therapy services will begin at our clinic.
